Time to tie: 1 - 2 minutes
Rope used: One 15 ft rope

As the name clearly states, the Quick Cuffs are very fast to tie. I have a soft spot for ties that require preparation on a flat surface before being placed on the person being tied. There is something very soothing about the initial interaction in a Shibari session being only between you (the person tying) and the ropes, before adding the person being tied to the mix.
In this case, the quick cuffs create a slip knot around your partner's wrists. Due to the nature of the slip knot, these cuffs are very easy to adjust to the desired tightness. Once you've decided upon the position of the cuffs, make sure to lock them with a simple overhand knot. Failure to lock these cuffs could result in injury so make sure you don't forget this easy, yet crucial, last step.
Because these cuffs use only a single strand of rope around the wrists, they are not very comfortable for the person being tied. In this case it is up to you to decide between comfort and speed.
As a final recommendation for all single and double column ties, make sure you practice it on yourself before tying your partner. This will not only make you more confident, but will provide you with a more holistic view of what is happening in a Shibari session by understanding the point of view of the person being tied.
Have fun tying!
