The Gote Shibari - Flower Weave starts with the classic Gote Shibari tie and then adds a twist: a flower-like pattern woven along the upper ropes, both in the front and the back. This variation puts equal focus on the beauty of the back of the tie, not just the front.
Like the Gote Shibari - Mount Fuji Decoration, this Flower Weave doesn't add function, but it's all about the visual appeal. As you progress in your Shibari journey, mastering functional ties becomes second nature. You'll find that while there's a limit to how you can functionally tie arms, wrists, legs, hips, and waist, the possibilities for decorative variations are almost endless. These are what make each tie unique and offer a lifetime of exploration.
